Rotolok recently welcomed colleagues from Rotolok France to our UK manufacturing facilities, providing an opportunity to share technical knowledge, strengthen relationships and showcase the expertise behind our bulk handling solutions.
A key highlight of the visit was a tour of Northfield Foundry, where our French colleagues gained valuable insight into the processes, skills and craftsmanship involved in producing high-quality cast components. From molten metal through to the various stages of production, the visit demonstrated the precision, technical expertise and attention to detail that go into manufacturing components for Rotolok’s extensive range of valves and bulk handling equipment.
Beyond the manufacturing processes, the visit provided an excellent opportunity for teams from both sides of the Channel to exchange ideas, discuss technical challenges and share their experiences.
Julien Iniesta, Technical Sales Representative at Rotolok France, reflected on the importance of bringing teams together: “Industrial know-how is not only about equipment and processes. It is built over time, shared through experience, and continuously passed on from one generation to another.”
The visit reinforced the importance of collaboration across the Rotolok Group, bringing together manufacturing expertise and customer-facing knowledge to develop reliable, high-performance solutions. By working closely together, our teams can continue to strengthen their understanding of customer requirements, share best practices and identify opportunities to improve the products and services we deliver.
