Argyle Reunion Honours Wembley Success

Rotolok was proud to be associated with a recent Plymouth Argyle reunion, held alongside the club’s League One fixture at the weekend, celebrating the historic 1995/96 Wembley play-off victory.

The reunion brought together former players, staff and supporters to mark a memorable chapter in the club’s history, coinciding with Argyle’s impressive 3–1 win over Huddersfield on the day.

Rotolok shares a strong connection with Plymouth Argyle from that era, with the club previously owned by our late founder, Dan McCauley, during the time of the Wembley success. The business also proudly sponsored the team, strengthening the ties between Rotolok and the club.

The event was attended by Ann McCauley, Dan’s wife, adding a special and personal link to the occasion.

Several key figures from the 1995/96 squad were also present, including former manager Neil Warnock, alongside players Gary Clayton, Ronnie Mauge — who scored in the Wembley victory — and captain Mick Heathcote.

The reunion provided a fitting opportunity to reflect on a proud moment in both Plymouth Argyle’s history and Rotolok’s heritage, highlighting the long-standing relationship between the business, the club and its community.
