Rotolok has recently delivered a bespoke set of diverter valves for a leading multinational company operating across the soil, plant, animal nutrition, and food sectors.
The customer approached Rotolok to replace four ageing diverter valves at one of their magnesium processing facilities. The challenge: design and manufacture robust, low-maintenance valves capable of redirecting large volumes of material from a single line to two others—without interrupting production.
Rotolok’s solution was two pairs of Gravity Trough Diverter Valves. Similar in concept to traditional flap diverters, these units use a pivoting, polymer-lined trough—acting like a seesaw—to direct product flow. The high-density polymer lining offers exceptional wear resistance and a low coefficient of friction, ensuring smooth material flow and long service life, even when handling abrasive media.
Kevin Steele, Sales Manager at Rotolok, commented:
“Yet again, Rotolok stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park. The successful delivery of these valves highlights the impressive work of the whole Rotolok team—from design through to manufacture. I’m very proud of what the team has achieved, and the repeat orders speak volumes about the quality of the valves we produce.”
This project reinforces Rotolok’s reputation for delivering engineered valve solutions tailored to demanding industrial applications.
