The Rotolok Lump Breaker has a design proven on assorted products and is particularly effective on dry, brittle and friable lumps. A fabricated construction using in-house laser cut components allows for any inlet and outlet size to match customer installations and stacked, cross-cutting designs for less friable products. The heavy duty blades are readily replaceable, as is the breaker grid, with an inspection door for easy assessment of wear. Mild steel and stainless steel are standard materials of construction and specials such as abrasive resistant steel are available as options. Another versatile and well-made valve in the Rotolok range of Bulk Material Handling equipment.

Our range of ATEX certified equipment is an increasing and important part of our business and we are pleased to say that we again passed the SGS Baseefa audit on November 16th 2016, allowing us to manufacture ATEX certified valves for another year. Thank you to all staff involved, especially our quality control team who ensure our ongoing compliance and maintain our ATEX records and systems.
We at Rotolok continue to supply the pet & animal feed industry and earlier this year our technical director and a member of our sales team took a trip to Bergen, Norway to have a look at the fish farm industry both onshore and offshore. It was a very positive few days and we thank our hosts for their time & hospitality. We also took the time in Norway to visit one of our customer’s that has been with Rotolok for many years.
There are many opportunities in the fishing industry and we are currently developing bespoke equipment for use in this industry.
Here at Rotolok we continue to develop new rotary valve designs for the instant drinks suppliers. The new valves use a machined rotor instead of the traditional fabrication. It is highly accurate in dosing and can potentially save many thousands of pounds when batch weighing sachets or single cup packets where one or two grams below the packet weight is a reject and in effect waste but also if the packet is overweight it also costs the producer as it becomes a free amount. When the production line is producing a million or more packets, 2 or 3 grams over a year can amount to a lot of money per line.
